You solved many problems for your generation and gave us the tools and insights to solve the ones that may come our way tomorrow.  ..... a man of many firsts. ..... a leading example. Most importantly, he understood that his job is to "take care of the horses". What impresses me is that he found a way to remind himself every day about this awesome responsibility he had. He knew that you could easily get sidetracked dealing with the issues at hand.

So you left us with a legacy of what leadership truly is. Which is leaders take care of people. And you took care of your men. RIP Great Soldier.
